The Street was a Henry Cole re-imagined Commando 961 Mk11 in conjunction with Guy Willison and Norton.
It was featured through series 7 of The Motorbike Show.
It had to maintain the Euro4 homologation, so the frame and fuel capacity along with the position of electronics and ancillaries were not to be changed.
The handlebars were changed to black Renthal Fatbars, an aluminium hand-crafted tail unit including a bespoke diamond stitched alcantara seat and new fuel tank were also used to change the styling to a Street Bike from the 1970’s.
Henry said of it at the time “it looks more dangerous than a sailor in a nunnery” and “it rides like a dream”.
There were only 50 created with this one being number 49.
