The introduction of the CX Platform and the departure from the ladder frame chassis signalled a new era of products from the Malvern factory. This particular car demonstrates all the advancements and advantages the CX platform has to offer. Automatic gearbox, power steering, ABS brakes, Remote central locking, independent suspension, disc brakes all around and of course the monocoque chassis developed in house specifically for Plus line cars, add that to the long list of options below and you can see why we are excited to offer this car for sale. This step change in design offered significantly more space whilst keeping near identical outside dimensions, superior handling, performance plus offering a greater level of comfort, all this is packaged in the exterior design we all know and adore. Initially the automatic was seen as a compromise by many historical Morgan owners, but now the automatic is the dominant force in the lineup and takes up eight out of ten cars being built. In fact, lots of historical owners and drivers are now driving the fabulous Plus Four automatics and choosing to own one over the manual cars.
