The Morgan 4/4 is a British motoring icon the 4/4 has been produced by the Morgan Motor Company since 1936. It was Morgan's first car with four wheels, the name indicating that the model has four wheels and four cylinders Apart from a break during World War II continuous production from its debut until late 2018 making it the longest running production car ever. Engine capacity has increased from the 1,122 cc Coventry Climax engine in 1936 to the most powerful 1.8-litre Ford engine in 2003 which is found in this example.

A versatile and well-balanced sports car, the 4/4 became a Morgan institution. The 4/4 represented the staring point to Morgan’s diverse and celebrated range of models, possessing very slightly less power than the Plus 4, it retains a level of sophistication and Style that made the shape of Morgan cars famous today and encapsulates everything a Morgan is. To this day, the experience of driving a Morgan 4/4 is exhilarating, engaging and enjoyable. Its traditional set up is complimented by a modern engine and drivetrain, striking a perfect balance between ‘new and old’. It possesses ample, usable power. Equally comfortable cruising around town or on fast A roads, the 4/4 has been the Morgan of choice for many owners for over seven decades!
