The Morgan Roadster became even more special. When In recognition of the Brooklands Racing Circuit, Morgan launched the Brooklands Edition with a strictly limited production of just 50 vehicles. The Brooklands track opened in 1907 and was theworld’s first purpose-built banked motor race circuit.  Built for both speed and spectator visibility, the track was 100 feet wide and some of its banks were nearly 30 feet high.  A black dotted line down the centre of the track enabled drivers toposition themselves and take banked corners - at least theoretically - without using the steering wheel. Since then, Brooklands has become as synonymous with aviation as motor racing, and home to so many engineering achievements, it is a fitting inspiration for Morgan. Thislimited-edition Morgan was designed to celebrate the style and ancestry of British racing cars. With classiccolourways, black detailing, and satin finishes, they are both contemporary and reminiscent of a bygone era. With a comprehensive specification, uprated suspensions and a fabulous 3.7 litre V6 engine producing 280BHP, this Roadster will be rewarding to own and drive. keeping it on track with its Brooklands heritage, each car also came with alimited-edition numbered dash plaque.
